    Gladys M. (Myers) Allison, 77, died at 2:10 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2005, at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Evan D. Allison to whom she was married 34 years. Funeral Monday, July 11, 2005, at Irwin Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Spring Grove, with her pastor, Rev. Paul W. Gausmann, officiating. Burial in Jefferson Cemetery.

    Mrs. Allison was born June 2, 1928, in North Codorus Township, a daughter of the late Allen E. and Lora S. (Cramer) Myers. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Trinity Road, York. In addition to her husband, Evan, Mrs. Allison leaves two sons, Robert K. Crowell, Jr. of Dover and David A. Crowell of York; a stepdaughter, Jean A. Rocco of Tucson, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Jennifer LindseyStevens, Neil, Scott and Braden Crowell, and Alicia Rocco; two brothers, Earnest A. Myers, Sr. of Hanover and Kenneth G. Myers of Spring Grove; and a sister, Loretta A. Lecrone of York. She was preceded in death by brother, Donald L. Myers in 1991; and a sister, Janet M. Miller in 1993. [York Daily Record]

    Allen E. Myers, 61, husband of Mrs. Lora Cramer Myers, died at 3:30 p.m. yesterday at his home, Spring Grove RD 3. Death followed an illness of 10 months.

    Mr. Myers was born in North Codorus Township, a son of the late Joseph and Villamina Kessler Myers. He belonged to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Spring Grove; Jefferson Volunteer Fire Company, Stoverstown Fire Company, Jefferson Sportsmen's Association, Jefferson Rifle Club and Dry Run Hunting Camp in Clearfield County.

    Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Earnest A., Kenneth G. and Donald L. Myers, all of Spring Grove RD 2; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Crowell, Spring Grove RD 1; Mrs. John Lecrone, Jr., 417 Fairmount Place, York, and Mrs. Leander Miller, Jr., York RD 3; 20 grandchildren; three brothers, Harry Myers, Hanover RD 2, and Clarence and Amos Myers, both of Spring Grove RD 1, and five sisters, Mrs. Martin Little, York; Mrs. Wilbur Gladfelter and Mrs. Albert Kessler, both of Seven Valleys RD 1; Mrs. Guy Henry, Baltimore, and Mrs. Leonard Myers, Lumberville, Pa.

    Funeral services will be conducted at the Sauter Funeral Home, Spring Grove, at 2 p.m. Thursday by his pastor, Rev. F. Elwood Moreland. Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.

    Lora S. Myers, 98, of Spring Grove, died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at Homewood at Plum Creek, Hanover. She was the wife of Allen E. Myers, who died June 26, 1961.
    Born Feb. 2, 1902, in Glenville, she was a daughter of the late Chester H. and Ellen J. (Runk) Cramer.

    Surviving are two sons, Earnest A. Myers and Kenneth G. Myers, both of Spring Grove; two daughters, Gladys M. Allison of Thomasville and Loretta A. LeCrone of York; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Myers, who died in 1981, and a daughter, Janet M. Miller, who died in 1993.

    The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sauter-Irwin Funeral Home, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery, Codorus Township.

    Your pastor assisted Rev. W. H. Ehrhart in the funeral services of Chester H. Cramer who died in the hospital at York on September 14, 1922, as the result of injuries sustained by an automobile about six weeks previously.

    Mr. Cramer was born April 22, 1859, and was aged 63 years, 4 months and 22 days.
    Funeral services were held Saturday morning, September 16, at the house and the Stone Church. Burial in the new cemetery.

    There are left to mourn Mr. Cramer's death: his widow, ten children, and twenty-one grandchildren.

    Obituary, From FindAGrave:

    Mrs. Ellen Jane Cramer was born March 22, 1861, and died April 11, 1931, aged 70 years and 19 days.

    Her death came very suddenly after only a few days of illness which followed a fall which she suffered when visiting one of her children.

    Mrs. Cramer had been a faithful member of St. Jacob's (Stone) Reformed Church for many years, and together with her husband who was accidentally killed September 14, 1922, raised a large family of children who have all become good and useful citizens, and most of them living in the Stone Church community. There are also a large number of grandchildren to mourn her loss.

    The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 1931, from the home of her son, Lawrence Cramer, with brief services at the house and concluding services at the Stone Church. The funeral text was Psalm 73:24. Rev. W. H. Ehrhart assisted at the services. Burial in the new cemetery.
