Frances "Fannie" Rebecca Burns

Notes:

Researcher Ralph Burns of Mississippi posted a note to her record on 1880 San Augustine County, Texas census, indicated her maiden name was BURNS. This matches the Texas Death certificate information for her children James, Pinkie, Lou, Della, and Eula.

In 1910, and again in 1930, she was enumerated with her daughter Della, and son-in-law, Emmett Cordray.

The following was inscribed on her tombstone: "Remember youth as you pass by, As you are now so once was I, As I am now so you will be, Prepare for death and follow me."

Frances married John H. Baldree before 1868. John was born about 1845 in Alabama; died on 22 Aug 1896; was buried in McMahan's Chapel Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

3. Frances "Pinkie" Lee Baldree was born on 20 Jan 1875 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 2 Mar 1950 in San Augustine, San Augustine County, Texas; was buried in McMahan's Chapel Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas.
4. Loula "Lou" Baldree was born on 1 Jun 1877 in San Augustine County, Texas; died on 26 Aug 1951 in Houston, Harris County, Texas; was buried in McMahan's Chapel Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas.
5. Della Baldree was born on 18 Apr 1879 in San Augustine, San Augustine County, Texas; died on 18 Aug 1945 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; was buried in San Augustine City Cemetery, San Augustine County, Texas.
6. Eula Elizabeth Baldree was born on 25 Dec 1884 in Sabine County, Texas; died on 16 Dec 1943 in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas; was buried in Trickham Cemetery, Trickham, Coleman County, Texas.
