    Casagranda shows that they had a total of six children, including John and Henry who both died young and therefore are not listed on the 1860 census. He was said to be on the 1840 Natchitoches, Louisiana federal census, and was also a settler on government lands int he parish between 1832 and 1860.

    Thought to be a son of Drury COOK and Druscilla COLLINGSWORTH, and a brother to Greenberry COOK, who married Nancy MORRIS, a sister his wife, Temperance MORRIS. Rocky Wright believes a third brother, Thomas, settled in Pike County, Mississippi.
