Lucy married George Washington Clark on 2 Feb 1870 in Cherokee County, Texas. George (son of Franklin Joel Clark and Martha Callahan) was born on 2 Jan 1851 in Texas; died on 2 Sep 1927 in Dublin, Erath County, Texas; was buried in Lingeville Cemetery, Erath County, Texas. John W. Clark writes that their marriage is recorded in Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas courthouse, Vol. D, page 177. No children are listed for George and Lucy, however the 1880 census shows an orphan, Eliza Hitchcock, age 12, living in their household.
