Ada married Horace Burnard Halbert before 1909. Horace (son of Joel Pickens Halbert and Eva Susan McGown) was born on 11 May 1887 in Milam, Sabine County, Texas; died on 2 May 1945 in Anderson County, Texas; was buried in Resthaven Cemetery, Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas.
