Elsie Lillian McGown

Elsie Lilliam McGown 78, of Hemphill died Aug. 14, 1999 at Hemphill Day Care Center in Hemphill.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 1999 at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill with burial a Myrtle Springs Cemetery.

A native of San Augustine and a longtime resident of Sabine County, she was a retired self employed beautician.

Survivors include her daughter, Ona Lee Felts of Hemphill; grandchildren Richard Felts, Angela Woods and Rebecca McKinley, all of Hemphill; and 11 great grandchildren.

Reggie (son of Drayton Pratt McGown and Ellen Luvenia "Lula" Pickard) was born on 11 Apr 1905 in Texas; died on 18 Oct 1981 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas; was buried in Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Geneva, Sabine County, Texas.
