    In a family history prepared by granddaughter, Katherine Allen Tirado, she was referred to as Caroline Young Kirksey Maund. It was also shown she was born in 1802, which is contradicted by census data.

    Caroline was married first to a Mr. Kirksey. At the time of the 1850 Newport, Florida census, she was enumerated with William and his children from his first marriage, William L, John and Angeline. Also living with them was her 12 year old daughter, Victoria Kirksey, and their three children together, Henry, Elizabeth and Lucretia.

    1. Judge Henry Clay Maund was born on 21 Apr 1844 in Georgia; died on 16 Aug 1920 in Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Hemphill City Cemetery, Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas.
