Mary Dill notes the Archibald was the son of William Kincheloe and Minerva Hale. Minerva married second, after William died in 1840, George D. Slavin of Scotland County, Missouri.

Archibald married Harriett M. Hall on 1 Aug 1850 in Scotland County, Missouri. Harriett (daughter of Alexander Endimyon Hall and Sarah L. Hale) was born about 1836 in Greene County, Tennessee; died after 1880 in Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

After William died 11 Aug 1840 in Washington Co TN, Minerva and her children moved to Scotland Co MO and later remarried George D Slavin 24 Jun 1851 in Scotland Co MO. Archibald and Harriet Kincheloe moved to Farmersville, Collins Co, TX. Archibald died 19 Sep 1871 and Harriet after the 1880 census.
