Joyce Marie Elznic was born to Jerry Clyde Lee and Hazel Dalton on January 2, 1971, at Denton, Texas, and passed away on December 25, 2011 at the Fillmore County Hospital Emergency Room in Geneva, Nebraska at the age of 40 years, 11 months, and 24 days. Joyce grew up around Denton, Texas and spent most of her young adult life there. In 1997 she moved to Nebraska where she met James Elznic. They were married on September 9, 2006. One child was born to James and Joyce, a daughter Victoria. James and Joyce were together until her unexpected death. Joyce spent her days raising her four children and grandchild. She valued her time with family and friends. She enjoyed walking through the woods, waterfalls, fishing, and camping with her family. She also enjoyed music and dancing. Joyce is survived by her husband James Lee Elznic; parents Jerry & Brenda Lee; Hazel and Keith Rhoades; son Samuel Hickman; daughters Causha Wilkey and fianc? Sang Xayavong, Cheyenne Wilkey, and Victoria Elznic; grandson Elliot Xayavong; brothers Gerald Lee, James DeHay, Joshua Underwood and Willy Underwood; sisters Sheila DeHay and Kathy Hilliard. ?i?

Notes:

The son of Frank and Mary Hamouz Elznic, he came to America at age 16, making his home in Humbolt, Nebraska, moving to Milligan in 1891. He was Catholic. Frank held an office for over 30 years in the Katilicky Delnik. (Milligan, p 266).
