    Notes:

The digital image of his actual Texas Death Certificate, viewable online at FamilySearch.org, Texas Deaths, 1890-1976, shows him as the son of Dr. Jubal Ragan, born Tennessee, and Mary Travis, born Mississippi. He was married at the time of his death. His occupation was shown as Farmer. He was a resident of Brookeland, Texas. He was not a veteran.

It appears he had been married previously. The death certificate of Juble Berlin Ragan shows him to be the son of Joseph Homer Ragan and Angie Williams. Juble Berlin was born on November 23, 1903 in Texas.
