    Johnathan Dale Jacks

    Funeral services for Johnathan Dale Jacks, infant son of Paul and Tammi Jacks of Buna, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 1995, at the Barclay Memorial Building at Antioch Cemetery near buna. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.

    He died Jan. 3, 1995, at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.

    In additon to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Daniel Jacks of Buna, grandparents, Dale and Jacqueline Mudd of Deer Park and Thomas and Virginia Jacks of Buna; and great-grandparents, Clinton Jacks and Geraldine Jacks of Pineland, Marian Mudd of Deer Park, Mattie Simmons of Frankston, and James E. Wallace of Buna.

    Etta Geraldine Jacks, 84, passed away in the Hemphill Care Center in Hemphill. Etta was born in Sabine County to Wesley and Essie Mae Thomas Smith. She was a member of the Parkway Baptist Church; she worked as a certified nurse's aide for the Sabine County Hospital and private duty.

    She is survived by her son Tommy Jacks and wife Virginia of Pineland, her three daughters: Linda Lou Jacks of Pineland, Sharon Boulware of Dickinson, Texas, and Tommie Jean Clark and husband Ivy Lee of Pineland, Texas, her nine grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

    Graveside service is at 11:00AM, Friday, July 3, 2015, in the Jacks Cemetery in Pineland, Texas.
