Dennis Belohlavy writes that Anna immigrated before 1866 to Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Her father was Jiri/George Zvonicek, born 23 April 1835 in Bohemia, immigrated 1865 to Chicago. Anna had one brother who had died prior to their emigration to the United States. Her mother died aboard their immigration ship and was buried at sea in the Atlantic Ocean Her father married second, that same year, a widow, Terezie/Teresa (Last Name Unknown), who had three children of her own by her first husband a SKLIBA.

Jiri Zvonicek was naturalized 28 Nov 1874 in Nebraska. He died sometime after 1885 in Nebraska.

Anna married Jan "John" Luzum on 10 Feb 1884 in Wilber, Saline County, Nebraska. Jan was born on 5 Jun 1856 in Smetanova Lhota, Pisek, Bohemia; died on 9 Apr 1925 in Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska. 2. Josephine "Josie" Luzum was born on 12 Mar 1888 in Saline County, Nebraska; died on 4 Mar 1948.

4. Anna "Annie" Luzum was born on 21 Feb 1892 in Saline County, Nebraska; died in May 1974 in Crete, Saline County, Nebraska.
