    He worked on the family farm before enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1944. He served three tours of duty in Europe and two tours in the Far East during his 21 years of service, after which he retired to Littleton, Colorado. He was the son of Lloyd H. PETERSON and Velma CHAPMAN.

    PETERSON, CLAUDE ARLIN Claude A. Peterson of Littleton. Visitation Thursday, 3-8 p.m., with Funeral services Friday 8:30 a.m., both at Drinkwine Family Mortuary. Interment, Ft. Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Claude's memory to the American Legion in Geneva, Nebraska.
