    On June 1, 1944 she was inducted into the US Navy as a WAVE, and served at Indian Head, Maryland and Patuxant River, Maryland working with commerical x-ray, reaching the rank Specialist Third Class. She was honorably discharged on Feb. 16, 1946. After her marriage to Melton Janda, the couple farmed near Western and Wilber for many years. When they retired they moved to Wilber. She was preceded in death by her parents, huband, daughter, and son Wayne. Also predeceased by her brother Miles Kaspar and his wife, Libbye, brother Bernad Kaspar and wife Helen, and brother-in-law Bernard Janda and wife Lorraine. She is survived by her son, Deryl fo Adams and special friend Robin Buhr and her daughter, Taylor, nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends and neighbors.
