Mrs. A. C. Holder Rites Scheduled
Ruby Farrow Holder, a long-time resident and wife of A. C. Holder, prominent Lovington businessman, died at Nor-Lea General Hospital shorty before noon Wednesday. She was admitted to the hospital last Friday. Mrs. Holder was born May 10, 1911 at Cape Hatteras, North Carolina. She was united in marriage to A. C. Holder on June 16, 1937 in Washington, D. C. and has resided here since 1947. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Chapter AJ, P. E. O. and was quite active in Pink Ladies at the original Lovington hospital. Mrs. Holder is survived by her husband, A. C., of the home, one daughter, Betty Schoeneman of Sioux City, Iowa and one son, Richard Holder of Salt Lake City, Utah. A daughter, Joyce Holder Small, preceded her in death on July 30, 1968. There are also five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren surviving. Funeral services for Mrs. Holder will be conducted Friday morning at ten in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Merriel Abbott, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lovington Cemetery with the following serving as casket bearers, Ken Chambers, Jim Jameson, Bob Boyd, Dean Alexander, Bill Campbell, Merle Kindel and Kent Gentry.

(son of Thomas Edgar Holder and Stella Adams) was born on 4 Sep 1914 in Elida, Roosevelt County, New Mexico; died on 19 Dec 1999 in Lovington, Lea County, New Mexico; was buried in Lovington Cemetery, Lea County, New Mexico.
