Her Kentucky death certificate, provided by Paul Williams, shows him as a son of Thomas Kirby and Betty Estom (??). His occupation was listed as farmer. The informant was D.V./Dale? Kirby. A line was drawn through the marital status block.

Jeremiah married Cynthia McLemore between 1845 and 1846. Cynthia (daughter of Gilliam McLemore and ??? Kirby) was born on 21 Jan 1818 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky; died on 6 Jan 1911 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky; was buried in Skaggs Creek Cemetery, Rockcastle County, Kentucky.
