Larry Crocker writes that "The 1947 Beaumont, Jefferson County City Directory shows Elmo L. and Frances living at 2065 Lawrence Way and him working as a salesman for the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company. My Uncle was always called Reeves by family and friends and we called him uncle Reeves instead of uncle Elmo.
