  1. 10.  Joseph Bennett Neal was born on 8 Sep 1856 in Texas (son of Joseph William Neal and Permelia Jane Mason); died on 3 Mar 1941.

    Notes:

Shown as Joel? on the 1870 Sabine County Census. Dale Rubel shows that he married first Martha Vickers, a daughter of Austin Vickers and Susannah Halbert. Bridgett Kearney also shows multiple marriages, first to Martha Emma Vickers/Halbert Mason, a daughter of James "Gov" Mason Sr and Susannah Halbert (note differing parentage...not proven by census records, plus her DOB per Bridgett was five years prior to the marriage of her purported parents)...second to Anna FRANKLIN and third to Alice Leona Moran.

Joseph married Alice Leona Moran on 3 Jan 1909. Alice (daughter of William Franklin Moran and Malissa Jane Loving) was born on 15 Mar 1871 in Texas; died on 25 May 1961; was buried in Moran-Loving Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  2. 11.  Alice Leona Moran was born on 15 Mar 1871 in Texas (daughter of William Franklin Moran and Malissa Jane Loving); died on 25 May 1961; was buried in Moran-Loving Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas.

    Notes:

The transcription of the Moran-Loving Cemetery shows that she marrried first William Braswell, second Joseph B. Neal and third a BROWN, as this was the name at the time of both the 1930 census and that was shown on her tombstone.

Year of birth is likely wrong, as Melia Sanders, also a daughter of William Sanders and Sally Weaver, was shown on her Texas Death Certificate as being born on February 9, 1887, only a few weeks after the year Bee was said to be born.
