WOODFORD upon a marriage bond issued to them on July 16, 1842 (Southampton Marriage Register, p. 520), upon which Howell was security, and Howell married Lucy I. WOODFORD upon a bond issued December 18, 1842 (Southampton Marriage Register, p. 525), upon which his brother James was security. It is said that neither of these marriages resulted in children. (James L. McLemore, III, p 79).
