At the time of the 1870 census, she was living with her son's family, Earl Beddoe in Sabine Parish, Louisiana. John W. Clark writes that she was buried in Chatfield, Texas. Virgie Speights writes that she was descended from Sir Thomas Parr of England, a relative of the Catherine Parr who married Henry the XIII.
Catherine married Phillip Tolbert Beddoe on 10 Feb 1820 in North Carolina. Phillip was born on 19 Jul 1790 in England, United Kingdom; died about 1861 in Sabinetown, Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Sabinetown Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
Children:- Earl Percy Beddoe was born on 30 Jan 1822 in Tennessee; died on 27 Nov 1876 in Navarro County, Texas.
- Phillip Horton Beddoe was born on 17 Feb 1826 in Washington County, Tennessee; and died.
