Her death certificate shows her to be the daughter of Marshal GREGORY and Nellie E. KINMON [Kinman]. The informant was Ruth BLAZEK, her sister.

At the time of the 1920 census, she was living with her parents in Dill, Kiowa County, Oklahoma.

Dorothy also had brother, Harold Dean, born in 1922, after this census enumeration. He was killed in action on 2 May 1945 in Okinawa, and was posthumously awarded the Silver Star for his heroism on Leyte.

Dorothy married Ernest Richard Strong on 18 Aug 1923 in Greer County, Oklahoma. Ernest (son of Ralph Brainerd Strong and Mary Ella Hall) was born on 2 Apr 1899 in Texas; died on 15 Oct 1961 in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
