Alricks Henry Burkett

Alricks Henry Burkett, 86, of Beaumont died February 3, 2006. A native of Jasper County and resident of the Beaumont area, he worked for South Park Independence School District until his retirement. Alricks is a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of New Life Tabernacle Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruby R. Burkett; daughter, Juana Bernath and her husband George of Lyles, Tennessee; son, David Burkett and his wife Betty of Beaumont; foster daughter, Margaret Greer and her husband Paul of Spring Hill, Tennessee; granddaughters, Sandra Hornbeak and her husband Jim, Dana Zoch and her husband Craig, and Patti Harrington; grandsons, Ashton and Blake Burkett; one great grandson, Cameron Zoch; one great granddaughter, Noelle Zoch. Alricks was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Martha Burkett. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 6, 2006 at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive with Reverend L. Charles Treadway leading worship, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday evening February 5, 2006 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
