  1. 1.  Mary Jane Jordan was born in Sep 1864 in Louisiana; died after 1910 in Louisiana; was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sabine Parish, Louisiana.

    Notes:

Said to be the daughter of Zachariah JORDAN and Kisiah STEPHENS. Ruby Boyett Burkett writes that she may never had been legally married to William Jackson BOYETT, and that their relationship was a bit confusing and tangled.

It appears that she and William had several children born around the same time that William and his second wife, Martha Davis, were also having children.

It also appears that she was married/in another relationship at least twice after Williams death; first having a daughter named Viola BELL in 1902, and then marrying Isaac HALE in approximately 1903. She had her 11th child, Mattie HALE, in 1904.

If she had a total of 11 children, minus one that was a HALE and one that was a BELL, that left her with Nine by BOYETT. (Maybe eight if the child that died were born to Bell or Hale?.or less if she had another husband in there somewhere).
