Another marriage record: Albert A. Sherman married Alcina Blodget 28 Jan 1867, Presumably this is the father, as AA Jr died during the Civil War. Perhaps Sarah predeceased him and he remarried.

I hope you are still on line. I found Sarah Richmond's family. It says that Sarah was born in Whitestown, NY and that she and Albert A. were married in NY.

Sarah's parents are Joshua Richmond b 1765 Tauton, Bristol Co., MA and died 1820 Bergen, Genessee Co., NY. He married Sarah Snow May 29, 1784 in Bristol Co., MA. Sarah was born 1784 Bridgewater, MA and d ? Kendall, Orleans Co., NY.

Joshua's parents were Isaac Richmond and Mehitable Richmond. Sarah's parents were Seth Snow and Betty Sprague.
