    Harley R. Rudersdorf
    Harley R. Rudersdorf, 75, of 4212 Rush Blvd. died at 6:40 p.m. Thursday of bronchitis at his home. Mr. Rudersdorf was born Dec. 9, 1890 in North Lima, a son of Gustav and Anna Kling Rudersdorf, and had lived in this area all his life. He worked 50 years at United Engineering & Foundry and was assistant general superintendent in 1958 when he retired. He was a member of Pleasant Grove United Presbyterian Church, Hillman Lodge 481 F. & A.M., and Al Koran Shrine, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, St. John's Commandry 20, Youngstown Shrine Club, Ashlar Chapter 213 R.A.M., the O.P.M., and United Engineering & Foundry Co.'s supervisor's group. His first wife, the former Norabelle Strong, died in 1945. He leaves his wife, the former Alberta Cuttings, who he married in 1947; two daughters, Mrs. Paul KISER of Canton, and Mrs. William E. HUMPHREY of Hubbard; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Davis Velker Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Hillman Lodge services will be held at 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

    Harley married Nora Belle Strong about 1913. Nora (daughter of Frederick Adelbert Strong and Alberta M. Osborne) was born on 13 Feb 1891 in Bristolville, Bristol Township, Trumbull County, Ohio; died on 9 Apr 1945 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio; was buried in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.     Gustave Rudersdorf, Retired Grocer, Dies

    Gustave Rudersdorf, age 90, of 4212 Rush Blvd., retired grocer, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at 5:18 p/m. Wednesday at this home. He was born in Haiger, Germany Feb. 20, 1854, and lived in the United States since 1881. Before his retirement, Mr. Rudersdorf operated grocery stores on the North Side and in Woodsworth. His wife, Anna Kling Rudersdorf, died 12 years ago. Mrs. Rudersdorf leaves a son, Harley R., with whom he lived; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hofmeister Memorial Funeral Home, where friends may call Friday Evening.

    Gustave married Anna Kling before 1890. Anna was born about 1856 in Germany; died on 9 Feb 1932 in Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Rudersdorf-Mrs. Anna, age 76, of 4212 Rush Blvd., died at 1 p.m. Feb 9. She is survived by her husband, Gustaf Rudersdorf; son Harley; sisters, Mrs. Amelia KRESS and Mrs. Agnes SCHULTZ, brothers, Herman and Otto KLING. She was a member of St. Charles's Church of Boardman. Services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Charles' Church. Interment will be in Tod Cemetery.

    Jean Baun also supplied a copy of the obituary for Anna's brother Herman KLING. He was a Youngstown area architect, and was born in Germany to Friedrich and Amalie Einhaus KLING. and was a graduate of the University of Berlin.
