Stella married Anton A. Bartu on 18 Jul 1942 in Douglas County, Nebraska. Anton (son of Joseph F. Bartu and Mary Kral) was born on 11 May 1920 in Atlanta Township, Saline County, Nebraska; died on 15 Aug 1997 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Their children were Anton, Jr., James, and Shirley Sopinski. Anton served in the U.S. Army from 1942 through 1945.

He was employed by Wilson Packing Company in Omaha, Nebraska, retiring in 1970 due to poor health. He and Stella made their home in Omaha. (Milligan, p 191).
