1. James John W. Rabon was born about 1840 in South Carolina; and died.
2. George Rabon was born about 1847 in South Carolina; and died.
3. Lucretia "Lula" Rabon was born about 1854 in South Carolina; and died.
4. Henrietta Rabon was born about 1857 in Alabama; and died.

Notes:

White & Toole, "Sabine County Historical Sketches and Genealogical Records", pages 46 and 47 show that "In 1786, Absalom McD. made his will naming wife Bartha and sons, WILLIAM, Hiram and Jehiel. Hiram also moved to Georgia about 1798. Absalom's estate was on the Savanah River. His father, James had rec'd 640 A. plus 756 A. in 1796. In 1813, Alexander McD., Wm. McD. acting as his attorney, sold over 1000 acres of land to Moses Swearingen. Much of the information about the family of William and Dosha McDaniel was taken from a letter rec'd by the late Lewis McD. of Sabine County from a cousin in Alabama, in 1924. The letter was from John Matheny. He obviously copied if from the family Bible, for most of these lines have been researched from then until present, and they have checked out to be correct."

William married Douvica "Dosha" Couch on 23 Jun 1798 in Edgefield District, South Carolina. Douvica was born before 1780 in South Carolina; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

The daughter of Edward Couch and Apsilia Watson. Edward d ca 1796 sons John, Watson, and Willis, a dtr Francis was the mother of Mamie Norris Tillman, wife of Gov. Ben Tillman of S.C. John Watson is believed to have been the father of Apselia Watson Couch. (White and Toole, p 46-47).
