Edith Beard Cannon, in "Genealogical Reports for The Historical Society of York County, Vol. XXIX, pp. 1-72, Evidence of the Cramer Families of York before the year 1850 REVISED" published 1943, writes that an Administation Bond (2N, 174) was posted on November 7, 1840 for the Estate of Laurence Cramer of Codorus Township, Henry Cramer Administrator. This book is lost. January 3, 1843, Henry Cramer, administrator reported that in pursuance of a Court order dated Jan. 5, 1841, the sale of the following was conducted: No. 1, containing 50 acres sold to Christian MECKLEY for $311.41 1/2; No. 2, containing 19 acres, to John ROHRBACH for $189.43 3/4; No. 3, containing 80 acres, the homestead part, to Catherine Lehman for $298.12 1/2; No. 4, containing 9 acres, to Joseph GRAYBILL for $85.81 (Orphans Court Dockets, U. 145).
