Bettye Bragg Wagstaff cites "Sabine County cemetery Records to 1964" to show the birthdate of Margaret Ann Harvey Smith Allen Reeves as 9 February 1839. Per Blance Toole, it was 9 February 1829, which corresponds more closely with her age per census records.

Margaret married Reddin F. Smith in 1850. Reddin (son of Eli N. Smith and Rachel ???) was born on 1 Jan 1821 in Mississippi; died about 1864; was buried in Harvey Cemetery, Sabine County, Texas. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
