The book, SABINE COUNTY HISTORICAL SKETCHES AND GENEALOGICAL RECORDS, shows her as a daughter of "Wm. and Mary Carter, and believed to a desc. of Isaac Carter, Rev. soldier (sic)."

Wm. and Mary Carter were (1) dead prior to 1850, before the date of birth of Parthenia and (2) even if still alive, much too old. Perhaps Parthenia was a granddaughter, a daughter of their son Redmond? Or of son William and his wife Louisa Simmons?

4. Stella Martha Impson was born on 31 Aug 1882 in Arkansas; died on 23 Aug 1971 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
5. Louvella "Ella" Impson was born on 21 Jan 1885 in Arkansas; died on 12 Oct 1970 in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas; was buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Pineland, Sabine County, Texas.
6. Parthenia Elizabeth Impson was born in Jan 1887 in Arkansas; and died.
7. Lidey Agnes Impson was born in Jun 1888 in Arkansas; died on 11 Jan 1971 in Denison, Grayson County, Texas.
8. Sophronia Adaline "Addie" Impson was born on 3 Jun 1890 in Arkansas; died on 19 Dec 1985.
