2. | Preciliano G. Moreno was born on 23 May 1907 in Monterey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico (son of Heliodoro Moreno and Tomasa Garza); died on 14 Jun 1975 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas; was buried in San Jose Burial Park, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Notes:
When he registered for the draft, during World War II, he listed his name as Prisciliano Garza Moreno. His address was shown as 1208 N. Flores (with 1221 Torreon first written, and then lined through). His place of birth was shown as Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. His next of kin was listed as his wife, Encarnacion Garcia Moreno, who still resided as 1221 Torreon. His employer was Carol Schea, with the place of employment noted as 1322 N. Flores.
Family Search has a record for Prisciliano Moreno Moreno, with a very similar date of birth, 23 May 1906, christening 20 May 1911 in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico. [Source: San Fernando de Rosa, Baptism Records, 1909-1913] No location of birth is shown, and the year is off by exactly one year. This Prisciliano is shown as a son of Eleodora Moreno Gonzalez and Tomasa Moreno Garza, so it appears to be the same person.
The family makeup matches the 1920 Federal Census for San Antonio, Texas, when Preciliano was living at home with his parents.
His obituary, published in The San Antonio Express News, 20 June 1975, page 28 noted he was born in Mexico and had been a resident of San Antonio for 65 years, survived by daughter Mrs. Beatrice Garcia, sons Albert Roy Moreno of San Antonio, Mr. Henry Alfred Moreno of Detroit, Mr. Oscar Alex Moreno of Wooster, OH, sister Mrs. Aurora Moreno, brother Robert Moreno and 9 grandchildren. His residence was 4110 Waikiki Drive.

*In 1930, a Juanita Garcia age 12 was living on Lockhill Selma with a younger brother, Pedro and their father, Epifanio Garcia, about 1897 in Texas. This could be a different Juanita Garcia, based on both her age (only 9 years older in 1940 than she was in 1930) and more importantly that younger sister Lenora was not in the same household. Need to verify before adding Epifanio Garcia as her father.

4. | Heliodoro Moreno was born on 7 May 1882 in Musquiz, Coahuilia, Mexico (son of Jose Priciliano Moreno and Vicenta Gonzalez); died on 4 Aug 1963 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas; was buried in San Jose Burial Park, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. Notes:
His Texas Death Certificate shows he was the son of Perciliana Moreno and Vicenta Martinez. Location of birth listed as Musquiz, Coah, Mexico. He was a retired merchant and widowed. Informant was Robert G. Moreno, presumably his son. He was shown as being a resident of San Antonio for 50 years (since about 1913, matching the 1920 census) and his street address was 3215 So. Flores Street.
In 1924, Heliodoro was naturalized as a United States Citizen. He Declaration of Intention shows he was 41 years old at that time, married to Tomosa, also born in Mexico. The date and location of his birth differ from other records, being recorded as 8 July 1882, in Nuevo Leon on the Declaration, versus 7 May 1882 in Coahuilia on his death certficate and Find a Grave. His address, however, matches the one shown on the 1920 census, 1124 So. San Jacinto St, San Antonio. It therefore appears this document was for the same Heliodoroa Moreno who married Tomasa Garza.
He stated that he arrived in Eagle Pass, Texas on April 15, 1910 from Monterrey, on the Mexican International Ry, having been a resident of Nuevo Leon before he immigrated.

Court District, Western District of Texas, Declaration Number 4024]
Shown on Family Search as a son of Jose Priciliano Moreno Martinez and Vicenta Gonzalez, both of Marin, Nuevo Leon. This matches his Texas Death Certificate.
