  1. 1.  Frantisek "Frank" Rischling was born on 1 Nov 1841 in Krivoklat, Okres Rakovnik, Stredocesk?, Bohemia; died on 12 May 1921; was buried in Bohemian National Cemetery (Milligan South), Milligan, Fillmore County, Nebraska.

    Notes:

Grandpa Rischling Gone....After an illness lasting than two long years, Frank Rischling passed away last Thursday in the early morning, May 12, and the remains were interred in the Bohemian National cemetery Saturday afternoon. He suffered a stroke of paralysis two years ago and from that date to the day of his passing away, there was never a hope of his recovery. It was his lot to wait in patience for Father Time to garner him to his fold and the time was long and dreary and never ending. It was with wonderful fortitude that he bore his suffering and waited for the end to come.

The deceased was born in Bohemia, in Krivokat, November 1, 1841 and came to this country in 18_2. In 187_He was united in marriage to Petrolina Smikova and thereupon returned to Bohemia, where they remained about two years when they again came to this country and settled here permanently taking up land in Saline County. He leaves surviving him his widow and sons, Anton, Joseph, Frank, Henry and Edward and daughters Carolina Korbelik and Kristina Uldrich . For more than ten years the deceased served in the Austrian army under Maximillian a character of much not especially in the affairs of Mexico over which he ruled until put to death. When the Mexicans overthrew the monarchy established for him by France.

The declining years of his life was spent in Milligan and was loved by everyone for his gentle manners and always courteous bearing. The army training had left its impress upon him and taught him to live a life of precision and orderliness. He was a splendid neighbor to have and a fine character to know. Death was a welcome visitor in view of his physical condition and he richly deserves the untroubled sleep that embraces him now in the life beyond where he longed to go.
