Billy John Waldon, 54, of Hemphill, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at CHI St. Lukes Memorial Hospital.

Billy was born on October 22, 1967 in Livingston, Texas to Johnny Waldon and Wilma Jean Latham Waldon Dickerson. He was a lifelong resident of Sabine County.

He is survived by his brothers, Roy Buddy Waldon of Hemphill, Benny Waldon and wife, Dorothy of Alvarado, Texas, Bobby Waldon and wife, Stacy of Hemphill, Steven Waldon and wife, Kim of La Marque, Texas, Robert Dickerson and wife, Donna Kay of Hemphill, Charles Dickerson and wife Patsy of Milam, and Tommy Dickerson and wife, Peggy of Hemphill; sister, Judy Latham and husband, Ronnie of Lufkin and Jeannie Adkison of Hemphill.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnny Waldon and Wilma Jean Latham Waldon Dickerson; and sisters, Claire Denby and Jennifer "Jan" Linzy.

A Graveside Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 in Springhill Cemetery in Hemphill, Texas under the direction of Starr Funeral Home with Bro. Pat Jacks officiating.

Wilma Jean Waldon Dickerson 74, passed away Wednesday morning, March 3, 2016, in the Sabine County Hospital in Hemphill, Texas. Wilma was born in Jasper, Texas to Charlie and Mona Easley Latham. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide for the Nursing Home. She was a member of the Bronson Revival Center in Bronson, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, step mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Robert F. Dickerson of Hemphill, six sons: Robert Gene Dickerson of Hemphill, Charles Paul Dickerson of Milam, Tommy Glenn Dickerson of Hemphill, Billy John Waldon of Hemphill, Bobby Arlon Waldon of Hemphill, and Steven Dewayne Waldon of Galveston, her daughter Jeannie Adkison of Center; six brothers and sisters: Elna Kincel of Hemphill, Donald Latham of Pineland, Ronnie Latham of Lufkin, Margie Williams of Broaddus, Dorothy Bayless of Pineland, and Christine Jacks of Hudson; six step-children; Judy Latham of Lufkin, Texas, Benny Waldon of Alverado, Texas, Buddy Waldon of Hemphill,Jan Linzy of Lufkin, Texas Rita Albrecht of Houston,Texas and Regina Rock of Houston, Texas,fifteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her parents Mona and Charlie Melvin Latham, her son Terry Joe Dickerson, her sister Marcille Latham, her brother Gerald Latham, and her other sister Barbara Ann Bragg.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM, Friday, March 5, 2016, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St. Hemphill, Texas. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM, Saturday, March 6, 2016, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery, in Hemphill, Texas.
