Danny Ray Bragg, Sr.

Danny Ray Bragg, Sr., 54, died suddenly in Nashville, TN, Friday, April 1, 2011.
He was born in Hemphill to Billy Ray and LaNell Forse Bragg. He had lived his life in Hemphill and was the owner/operator of the NAPA Auto Parts Store on the square in Hemphill.

He is survived by his mother, LaNell Bragg of Bronson; son, Danny Ray Bragg, Jr. of Hemphill; brothers, Billy Crow and his wife Sandra, Jim Crow and his wife Brenda, and Bob Crow and his wife Cathy, all of Bronson. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Bragg was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Bragg.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 5, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Plainview Cemetery near Bronson.

Joy (daughter of William Charles "Charley" Forse and Lora Lee Warner) was born on 6 Nov 1934 in Bronson, Sabine County, Texas; died on 12 Nov 2015 in Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches County, Texas; was buried in Plainview Cemetery (aka Plainview Family Cemetery), Pineland, Sabine County, Texas. LaNell Bragg, 81, passed away Thursday morning in Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas. Ms. Bragg was born in Bronson, Texas to William and Lora Warner Forse. Nell worked in the cafeteria at the West Sabine I.S.D. She was a member of the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church in the Plainview area. Ms. Bragg will be dearly missed by all her friends and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons: Billy John Crow and wife Sandra of Pineland, Jim Crow and wife Brenda of Bronson and Bobby Crow and wife Cathy of Bronson, her 10 grandchildren, her 31 great grandchildren, and her 22 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Danny Bragg, and her husband Bill Bragg.

Vistation will be from 5:00 until 9:00PM, Friday, November 13, 2015, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St. Hemphill, Texas. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM, Saturday, November 14, 2015, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery.

Martha Ann Sepulvado, 69, of Hemphill died at 7:26 a. m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches.

She was born March 1, 1935 in Athens, Alabama as a daughter of the late Mary (Henderson) and Houston Young and had lived in Sabine County for the past 44 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a social worker for the Department of Human Services.

Survivors: sons, Ray Sepulvado of Hemphill, Gary Sepulvado of San Augustine, Dennis Sepulvado of Milam, and David Sepulvado of Hemphill; daughters, Jo Ann Bragg of Hemphill and Janice Sepulvado of Hudson; step-mother, Lillian Young of Athens; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the chapel of Starr Funeral Home Inc. in Hemphill with Bro. Floyd Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Hemphill City Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Starr Funeral Home Inc. of Hemphill.
