    Donald McKee, Age 73, a resident of Midlothian, passed away Sept. 6, 2011. He was born April 11, 1938 in Midlothian, TX. Donald was active in Duncanville Jaycees, past president of Duncanville All Sports Assoc., a long time coach of Duncanville BBI, and had a career at Mobil Oil in marketing that spanned 40+ years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Betty McKee. Donald is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolores McKee; children, Angie Wade, Elisa Ballard, Brad McKee & wife Michelle, Scott McKee and wife Tracey; grandchildren, Jeremy, Lindsey, Rachel, and Lacy Wade; Hope McKee, Jordan Gonzales, Emilee McKee, Courtney and Lyndsey Mach; great-grandchildren, Clayton Bourquin and Temprance Wade; sister, Marquita Anderson and husband Ed; many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Services are 2:30 Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville. Burial will follow at Little Bethel Memorial Park. Visitation is 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

  1. 10.  Angelo McLemore was born on 7 Jan 1903 in Rains County, Texas (son of Elisha Right McLemore and Susan "Susie" "Jim Ann" "Granny Mack" Byram); died on 15 Aug 1959 in Carroll County, Arkansas; was buried in Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.

    Notes:

    Not located on the 1920 census. In 1930, he was living with his mother and two brothers, and not with first wife Elizabeth of their son, R. H. McLemore.

    Dolores McLemore McKee writes that her parents, Angelo and Pauline McLemore moved to California in 1935 where he worked for various large land owners, mostly in the fruit industry He also spent several summers working in Oregon and Washington. There he worked on McNary Damn located on the Columbia River. This was the time that irrigation was being developed for all the farming on both sides of the Columbia River. He was baptized ca 1950 Kennewick First Christian Church. He joined his son in Dallas in 1954 in his plumbing company. He passed away on August 15, 1959 while fishing on the White River in Arkansas. He is buried in Dallas along side his wife, Pauline (his second wife).

    Although the SSDI shows that Angelo was born 7 Jan 1903, Dolores notes that her own birth certificate indicates her father was born in 1902.

    Angelo married Pauline Glass on 28 Dec 1932 in Texas. Pauline was born about 1912 in Texas; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
