Living married Arlee Isobel Brueggeman. Arlee (daughter of Frederick "Ted" Harold Brueggeman and Elsie L. Kolb) was born on 25 Feb 1920 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; died on 8 Feb 2006 in Mauldin, Greenville County, South Carolina. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  2. 7.  Arlee Isobel Brueggeman was born on 25 Feb 1920 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania (daughter of Frederick "Ted" Harold Brueggeman and Elsie L. Kolb); died on 8 Feb 2006 in Mauldin, Greenville County, South Carolina.

    Notes:

Art Peck wrote that Arlee was a typist for Fidelity Bank, and became supervisor of the check printing department. She was transferred to their main branch in downtown Philadelphia, but quit when the commute became too much. She next worked as a secretary in the Personnel Department of the Delaware County Memorial Hospital. After going to night school to get her degree, she became the Director of Human Resources. She retired in 1983. She resumed her career after six months, working for a Dr. Kim, a neurosurgeon. She retired for good in September, 1989.

Mrs. Harvey was one of the cousins of BonnieMargaret Jacobs who searched their Bibles and records and picture collections to provide information for her 1981 manuscipt about the history of the Benkelman family.

  1. 14.  Frederick "Ted" Harold Brueggeman was born on 22 Mar 1896 in Nebraska; died between 1947 and 1948 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

    Notes:

Art Peck shows, in error, that he was born in Croswell, Sanilac County, Michigan. Census records show he was born in Nebraska ca 1896. His registration for the Draft during the First World War indicates his full name was Frederick Harold Brueggeman, and also show his place of birth as Nebraska. At the time he completed the registration, he was an unemployed Tool Maker living at 24 Trowbridge, Detroit, Michigan. He was of medium heighth and build, had light blue eyes and brown hair.
