    Notes:

    The Striffler-Benkelman Broadcast, Vol. 7, September 4, 1944, noted that Cpl. Raymond Green was stationed in El Paso, Texas. As of the September 3, 1945 issue (Vol. 8), it was reported that he was with the 78th Div. when they took the Remagen bridgehead, and was stationed near Kassel, Germany, with the Army of Occupation. In Volume 9 of the same periodical, a September 2, 1946, column titled "Our Service Men Who Have Returned Home", noted that First St. Raymond Green had returned after 15 months' overseas duty. As of the publication of Volume 17 of this same periodical, in September 1954, Raymond and Deloris had opened a children's furnishing store in Bad Axe, called Green's Children's House. In the 1964 issue, it was reported the family had moved to Albion, Michigan.

    Raymond married Deloris Sandham before 1944. Deloris (daughter of John A. Sandham and Grace L. Striffler) was born on 17 Oct 1913 in Michigan; died on 17 Oct 1997; was buried in Caseville Cemetery, Caseville, Huron County, Michigan. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    THE STRIFFLER-BENKELMAN BROADCAST-1961 reported that Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Green and daughter, Debbie, had moved to Albion, Michigan.
