    Notes:

    Norman Kenneth Sarver, 84, of the Plainview Community, died Saturday morning in the Mount Moriah Nursing and Rehab Center, Hemphill, Texas. He was born in Indian Bayou, Louisiana, to Ernest and Cora Linscombe Sarver. Norman was a communications technician and retired from United Gas Pipeland, Pineland, Texas. Norman grew up in Crowley, LA, and moved to the Plainview community in 1966 from West Lake, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army, a member the V.F.W. and the First United Methodist Church in Hemphill.

    He is survived by his wife of 65 years Barbara Sarver of the Plainview community, his daughters Lynn Burch and her husband Randy of Pineland, Kathy Lindsey and her husband Coleman of the Plainview community, his sister Doris Harrington of Houston, grandchildren; Kris Burch and his wife Michelle, Angela Burch, April Daniel and her husband Michael, C.C. Scott and her husband Brandon, great grandchildren; Cynlee, Drew, Janice, Jackson, Kylee, Justin, Ean, and patiently waiting on Allie and Allek.

    Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM, Monday, December 1, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery.

    Barbara "Bobbie" Lee Faulk Sarver, 84, of the Plainview Community, died, Thursday morning in the Mount Moriah Nursing and Rehab Center, Hemphill, Texas. She was born in Crowley, Louisiana, to Carruth and Gussie Jones Faulk. Bobbie met Norman on his 19th birthday and married him 3 months later. They were married for 65 wonderful years. They moved from West Lake, Louisiana to Magasco in 1966 before moving to the Plainview Community in 1978. Bobbie was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Pineland.

    She is survived by her daughters; Lynn Burch and husband Randy of Pineland, Kathy Lindsey and husband Coleman of the Plainview Community; her brother Bruce Faulk and his wife Rae of Georgetown, Tx; grandchildren, Kris Burch and Michelle, Angela Burch, April Daniel and husband Michael, C.C. Scott and husband Brandon; great grandchildren, Cynlee, Drew, Janice, Jackson, Kylee, Justin, Ean, Allie and Allek. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman; her parents, Carruth and Gussie and her sister, Joyce Sing.

    Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, Friday, April 3, 2015, in the Starr Funeral Home, 510 Starr St., Hemphill, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 4, 2015, In the Starr Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery.
