    After graduating from eighth grade, Helen stayed home to help her dad with all the farm work, which included working with the livestock as well as field work during the wheat and corn harvest. In the winters, when the outside work slowed, she did beautiful handwork, both crocheting and embroidering pillowcases, tableclothes and other items. (Milligan, p 275).

    The daughter of Joseph and Marie Pribyl. After Frank passed away, she continued to farm with four of her children. She moved into a house in Milligan in 1940. She enjoyed doing much fancy work and raising a large garden (Milligan, p 275).
